BENED Family Legacy
Families have boxes — big boxes — of photos, awards, and albums spanning generations. Family Legacy makes it simple to digitize all of it. Snap a photo, flip it over and snap the back (tandem mode for handwritten notes), add a voice description, and upload. AI analyzes your collection and helps organize thousands of memories into albums, timelines, and family trees.
Your photos live in your own Backblaze B2 storage bucket — BENED builds the tools, you own the data. Family members get their own accounts to view, comment, and share. Built-in succession planning means the legacy survives even if the custodian can't continue. Think of it as the family version of Facebook — except private, permanent, and actually yours.
Account & Identity
The shared identity layer for every app in the BENED ecosystem. One Keycloak login works everywhere. After authentication, users set up a security PIN, accept versioned legal agreements (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy), and optionally enable two-factor authentication with TOTP.
Every app can embed PIN verification, MFA setup, and agreement acceptance through secure iframe modals — no redirects, no context switching. Users who decline 2FA sign a liability waiver with full audit trail. Agreement versions are immutable: we can always retrieve the exact text a user agreed to, when, and from what IP. Per-app security preferences let users choose their verification method for each tool.
Praxis
The architecture of the entire BENED ecosystem, laid bare. Praxis maps every app, every database, every API connection and explains why each technology was chosen. Learning modules teach real concepts — databases, interfaces, API calls — through the actual code that powers BENED products.
